PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal storage apparatus for facilitating handling with a high efficiency by utilizing a low temperature exhaust heat. SOLUTION: An absorption refrigerator 1 of a cycle for heating a diluted solution of an absorbent by a heat source to concentrate it by filling an aqueous solution S of a guest compound for generating a hydrate having a melting temperature of 4 to 25 deg.C such as a tetra-n-butylammonium bromide or the like in a distributing system having a thermal storage tank 3, a pump 43 and the like, generating a water of a medium, and absorbing the vapor by the solution of the absorbent is provided. The solution S is cooled by a heat exchanger 4 via a chilled water from the refrigerator 1 to generate a hydrate slurry containing a particulate hydrate. |
