PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride-based resin composition which is excellent in discoloration resistance, elution resistance, radiation cracking resistance, injection moldability and connection retention of a tube, and can be suitably used as a material of a medical instrument.SOLUTION: A medical vinyl chloride-based resin composition contains (a) 100 pts.mass of a vinyl chloride-based resin satisfying the following (1) and (2); and (b) 1 to 15 pts.mass of tri-2-ethylhexyl trimelitate: (1) mass average molecular weight in terms of polystyrene of a differential molecular weight distribution curve measured by gel permeation chromatography of 98,500 or more and 110,000 or less; (2) molecular weight distribution Mw/Mn of 1.80-1.95, where Mw is mass average molecular weight in terms of polystyrene of differential molecular weight distribution curve measured by gel permeation chromatography, and Mn is number average molecular weight in terms of polystyrene.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
