<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of securing a setting state without causing variance by user's operation and realizing operability by providing a mechanism to automatically set a pull-out unit to a normal position. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is provided with the pull-out unit 71 in the main body base frame 70 of the apparatus 1 through slide rails 73 and 74 so that the unit 71 can be pulled out, and is provided with a pull-in driving means 78 for sliding the unit 71 in an inserting direction X1 further and pulling in and positioning it at the normal position A1 when the unit 71 is inserted to a pull-in position A2 near the front side of the normal position A1 in the case of sliding the unit 71 along the rails 73 and 74 in the inserting direction X1 and setting it at the normal position A1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
