In order to damp-proof damp masonry (12) with the aid of paraffin injections acting as a damp course, it is proposed that a heated tank acting on the underpressure principle as a container for the liquid paraffin (2). It is thus possible to prevent further liquid paraffin (2) from escaping from the blind holes (11) made in the masonry (12) for injection purposes. Prior drying of the masonry (12) can also be obviated by the simultaneous heating of the paraffin (2) in the blind hole (11).
