PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically perform surface treatment in a short time by laying and leveling a mixture addition of an asphalt emulsion and cement to a cut material obtained by cutting an asphalt pavement road surface, and spraying and pressing in an aggregate. SOLUTION: The surface of an asphalt pavement road surface is cut in depth of 50 mm or less, preferably, 10-25 mm. Next, an asphalt emulsion and cement are added to and mixed with the obtained cut material to prepare an ordinary temperature reproducing mixture. The ordinary temperature reproducing mixture is laid and leveled, and an aggregate is sprayed and pressed in within a time when the ordinary reproducing mixture is not hardened. This surface treatment method can be applied to repair of a fluidizing road surface, a worn road surface, a superannuated road surface or the like and a cracked road surface, and an asphalt road surface requiring refreshing. Thus, surface treatment can be economically performed in a short time while scattering of the aggregate is suppressed by using the easily available aggregate.
