PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which deterioration of a recording property can be prevented. SOLUTION: This device has an optical recording method recording information by irradiating an optical disk with light, operation in which information is recorded in the optical disk is interrupted by one to a plurality of times in the midst, after interruption of recording, a reproduced signal is obtained by different offset quantity in a region in which recording is performed before interruption, adjusted offset quantity is calculated from offset quantity in jitter of the lowest level and the reference level of the reproduced signal, the adjusted offset quantity is added to tracking adjustment before interruption of recording and recording operation is restarted based on the adjusted offset quantity.
