PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information management system for measuring and managing a plurality of position information, which links a plurality of positional information to manage it, and uses it as information that indicates linear, planar and stereoscopic ranges. SOLUTION: A sub position information transmission apparatus 21 detects its own positional information using a position information detector 22a, and then transmits it to a main position information transmitting apparatus 20. The main position information transmitting apparatus 20 receives the position information of the sub position information transmitting apparatus 21, and transmits it with its own position information using a position information detector 22 to a position information processing center 32. The position information is stored in a position information management DB 33 to be displayed by a screen display processing part 34, as the reference points of specified geographic features on a map.
