PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information search device enabling a user to easily obtain desired information. SOLUTION: The information search device 42 includes a first data sending and receiving part 62 for searching a program information database according to a keyword; a second data receiving part 64 for searching the Internet 48 according to the keyword; a filter part 66 for extracting as a new keyword a word with a high frequency of appearance, included in the text information retrieved from the Internet 48, or a word highly correlated with the keyword inputted; and a control part 60 for controlling the first data sending and receiving part 62 so that the program information database is further searched according to the new keyword.
