<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle that can smoothly switch a power source with respect to the traveling of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In the hybrid vehicle that can travel by at least either of an engine 2 or a traveling motor 1, an ECU 10 gradually shifts output distribution between the engine 2 and the traveling motor 1 to the traveling motor 1 from the engine 2, while controlling the number of revolutions of an output shaft 11 to be constant, or controlling a traveling speed VP of the vehicle to be almost constant, when the power source with respect to the traveling of the vehicle is switched to the traveling by only the traveling motor 1 from the traveling by only the engine 2. Furthermore, when it is determined that the traveling by the power of only the traveling motor 1 is impossible during the switching, the output distribution is gradually shifted to the engine 2 from the traveling motor 1; and the traveling is returned to the one that uses the power of only the engine 2, while controlling the number of revolutions NE of the output shaft 11 so as to be constant, or controlling the traveling speed VP of the vehicle so as to be almost constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
