Electrical contact web cutting device for belted contacts

The cutting device uses a cutter (110) with a separation blade (111) acting on the electrical contact web between a feed device (42) and a further work station (33). The blade extends perpendicular to the plane of the contact web and is displaced relative to the latter between its opposing longitudinal side edges. The contact web may be displaced longitudinally within the web plane and perpendicular to its longitudinal axis by simultaneous movement of the feed device and the further work station.
