Polarizer of electromagnetic radiation

The polarizer has parallel electrically conducting elements (5) arranged at a defined distance wrt. each other. The elements are held in position wrt. each other by at least one distance piece, whereby each distance piece is made of a low dielectricity material. The elements can be inserted into a plate- or strip-shaped distance holder (3). An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a polarizer.
