The invention relates to a mount for adjustable optical components, comprising a stationary guide way, an axially displaceable inner variator, a rotational cam support and a transmission member located in-between the variator and the cam support. The inventive mount is characterized in that a ball (13) that runs on the stationary guide way (5) is provided, which is held in stationary position in the axial direction and elastically in a radial direction on the variator (1). Preferably, a leaf spring (9) with an orifice (12) or a dent serving as a support for the ball are used as a holding device.
