PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell reducing the size of an exterior case. SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack 3 generating electric power by reacting fuel with oxygen in the air is formed in multiple independent blocks 3A, 3B, 3C, and the individual blocks 3A, 3B, 3C of the fuel cell stack 3 are placed in an exterior case 1 in parallel. Air supply ducts 51 and air exhaust ducts 53 are provided on both side faces of the individual blocks 3A, 3B, 3C of the fuel stack 3. The individual ducts 51, 53 are in an approximately trapezoidal shape thinning from one end to the other end of the blocks 3A, 3B, 3C. Individual blocks 3A, 3B, 3C are arranged in the exterior case 1 such that the directions from one end to the other end of neighboring blocks are altered one another. |
