PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system in which the number of usable terminals can be increased significantly by utilizing multiple frequencies in one radio base station area. SOLUTION: A plurality of physical radio base stations 11-13, 21, 22 exist in logical radio base stations 1, 2 but since they are recognized as one radio base station on the software side call processing, primary channel of a frequency being accessed, at first, by a subscriber served by the radio base station is not required for each physical radio base station 11-13, 21, 22. Physical radio base stations installed with the primary channel and not installed with the primary channel exist mixedly in the logical radio base stations 1, 2, and the physical radio base station not installed with the primary channel recognizes a frequency for use in call processing when frequency allocation is designated from a base station controller. |
