PURPOSE: To make improvements in assembling operability without increasing in manhours for assembling a one-way clutch by installing a projection, projecting axial outward from a surface formed by each axial end face of plural pieces of roller members, in the axial end face of a pad bearing. CONSTITUTION: One end in the axial direction of a pad bearing 10 is provided with a projection 10a projecting axial outward from a surface C formed by each axial end face of plural pieces of roller members 15. This projection 10a extends axial outward as far as length D in the insertional direction of an inner ring 2. Therefore, this length D comes to its insertional allowance at a time when the inner ring 2 is assembled in a one-way clutch 30, so before the inner ring 2 comes into contact with these plural rollers 15, it contacts with the projection 10a of the pad bearing 10, Accordingly, it is recommeneded to overcome any difficult to assemble deriving from such a fact that many of these rollers 15 existing in the circumferential direction are not uniformly shifted in the racing direction, and further, it is unnecessary to use any special assembling jigs therefore. |
