The present invention relates to a swirler for an internal combustion engine. The swirler for an internal combustion engine comprises: a rim body of a hollow pipe shape having space protrusions formed on both sides of an outer circumferential surface thereof, a mounting groove formed between the space protrusions, an inclined surface inclined to an inner surface thereof, and an auxiliary protrusion formed on an arbitrary internal point; one or more swirling vanes which are formed in the rim body and change a flow of air flowing into the rim body; and a middle portion positioned in the middle of the rim body, wherein the swirling vanes are connected to the outside thereof, and an inclined groove is formed in the middle thereof in a tapered shape. The volume of the middle portion in which the tapered groove is formed is 10-50% of the overall volume of the rim body to increase an amount of the air flowing into the rim body. One side of the middle portion is exposed to the outside of the rim body to prolong turbulence and a change in a speed of the air to increase the turbulence, the speed, and a feeding amount of the air to increase combustion efficiency of an internal combustion engine. |
