PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of grease in a constant velocity joint for a vehicle, the deterioration being caused by heat resulting from a rise of a temperature due to heat transfer from a differential gear device.SOLUTION: In a constant velocity joint 10 for a vehicle, a heat insulation coating film 50 having a thermal conductivity lower than that of a material of an outer race 20 is formed in an inner wall face of the outer race 20. Quantity of heat which is generated from a connected differential gear device 12, and transmitted to the inner wall face of the outer race 20 and further transmitted to grease filled into the outer race 20 is therefore suppressed by the heat insulation coating film 50 which has a thermal conductivity lower than that of the material of the outer race 20 formed in the inner wall face of the outer race 20. By this constitution, deterioration of grease in the joint part 18 of the constant velocity joint 10 for a vehicle can be suppressed, the deterioration being caused by heat resulting from a rise of a temperature due to heat transfer from a differential gear device 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
