A detection device (100) of a display panel circuit comprises a signal transmission module (110), a first signal receiving module (120) and a second signal receiving module (130). The signal transmission module (110) simultaneously transmits signals to conducting wires (231, 232) in a fan-out area (220) and an active area (210) of a display panel (200). The first signal receiving module (120) is configured to detect, according to the signal in the conducting wire (231, 232) in the active area (210), a conducting state of the conducting wire (231, 232) in the active area (210). The second signal receiving module (130) is configured to detect, according to the signal in the conducting wire (231, 232) in the fan-out area (220), a conducting state of the conducting wire (231, 232) in the fan-out area (220). Also disclosed is a detection method of the display panel circuit, effectively detecting, by disposing the second signal receiving module (130) in the fan-out area (220) of the display panel (200), a circuit defect in the fan-out area (220) of the display panel (200), thus effectively repairing a circuit having a defect, and increasing a product yield rate. |
