<p>The straddling dowel (1) is made of plastic and has a split (2) which runs from the introduction end over a part of the dowel length. From the rear dowel end, an inner bore (4) leads to the split. The two split surfaces are each provided with a groove (6). The fastening screw (5) has on the screw tip a guide projection (7) which, on screwing in, is guided by the groove (6). In this manner, untrue running of the screw in the dowel is to a great extent avoided. <IMAGE></p> |
