PURPOSE:To feed sheets of paper stably, by spacing a delivering roller away from the sheet when sheet is stopped by a shutter section, in a sheet delivering apparatus wherein a sheet delivered by a delivering roller is stopped at its forward end by a shutter section once and then is delivered. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet is manually inserted and the forward end thereof is detected via a lever 3 by a paper detecting sensor 22, the delivering roller 7 is rotated via gears 23, 24 by a motor, and a slantly delivering roller 4' is rotated via a pulley 24, a belt 26 and a pulley 27. At the same time, a solenoid 28 is energized to lower a roller 4 through levers 31, 32, and therefore the sheet is delivered in a direction E. Then when the sheet engages with the shutter 6, and the delivering is stopped, the roller is lifted, and when a shuttling manuscript table (not shown) is moved in position, the roller 4 is lowered again. Then the shutter 6 is lifted by a solenoid 35, and the sheet is fed by feeding roller 29, 30. |
