<p>PURPOSE: To decentralize a load to all servers and improve the efficiency of the whole system by finding the head of data which are decentralized and stored and making the server which has found the head request plural servers to access the dat according to the storage order of sequential data. CONSTITUTION: A managing program 13 is connected to the plural server computers 2a-2c and manages the data which are decentralized and sequentially stored on plural magnetic disk devices 31a, 32a, 31b, 32b, 31c, and 32c and the server computers 31a, 32a, 31b, 32b, 31c, and 32c. The driver programs 7a-7d find the server computers 2a-2c connected to the magnetic disk drives 31a, 32a, 31b, 32b, 31c, and 32c stored with the heads of the data by inquiring a control program 13, and then the server computers 31a, 32a, 31b, 32b, 31c, and 32c are requested to access the data in the storage order of the data starting with the found server computer 31a, 32a, 31b, 32b, 31c, or 32c.</p> |
