<p>PURPOSE: To provide a visiting card exchange device of a portable terminal which exchanges visiting card data with plural terminals at a time in a short time and facilitate the management of exchanged visiting card data. CONSTITUTION: The portable terminal A11 transmits its terminal ID and visiting card data stored in its own data storage part 101 from a communication process part 104 to portable terminals B12 and C13, and receives terminal IDs and visiting card data, sent from the portable terminals B12 and C13, by the communication process part 104 and stores them in a temporary storage part 102. A comparison process part 107 compares the contents of a main storage part 103 stored with a visiting card data base with the contents of the temporary storage part 102, and stores the received terminal ID as a new terminal ID in the main storage part 103 together with the visiting card data unless the received terminal ID matches the registered terminal ID or matches the visiting card data of the terminal ID when an identical terminal ID is found to correct unmatched parts, so that the data are stored.</p> |
