摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the control performance of a torch position by determining the distance between the front end of a torch and a surface to be processed from a sensor output value according to the function determined by a function calculating means and controlling the position of the torch according to the distance. SOLUTION: The output value of the gap sensor is inputted and the function corresponding to the currently used laser torch is read. The distance between the front end of the torch and the surface to be worked is then calculated. The deviation to the reference distance is calculated. The correction value of the position at the interpolation point is calculated in an equation by using the component of the approach vector taken in the central axial line direction of the torch. The angles of the respective axes are calculated from the position coordinates of the interpolation point and these angle values are outputted to the servo CPUs of the respective axes. Whether the interpolation point is a teaching point or not is decided. The interpolation point is updated unless the point is a terminal. The positioning control to the next interpolation point is then executed.
