The object of this invention is to provide the method for concentrating aqueous PTFE emulsion in the shortest time compared to conventional methods and its apparatus, which waste water is not produced, the formation of flocculative materials being produced in concentration process is completely prevented, and surfactants using in PTFE emulsion polymerization are recovered. This invention relates to batch or continuous methods and apparatus for concentrating aqueous PTFE emulsion operated by the elevation difference of equipments in which it is fed to cell of electrodialysis after controlling pH, and adding surfactant to PTFE emulsion.
