The present invention concerns a method enabling deposits in metal or non metal containers to be prevented or reduced, including high alumina refractory deposits (clogging) in the sink basin and/or the discharge device from the metallurgical tank during the outflow of molten metal, especially steel, whereby the molten metal is electromagnetically stirred, while the sink basin and/or the molten metal is inductively heated.
