PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling apparatus enabling the slow traveling of a mobile farm machine for transplanter suitable for running across a ridge. SOLUTION: In a traveling transmission device 9 of a mobile farm machine for transplanter, a speed reducer A for transmitting the rotary power of an input shaft 19 to the main shaft 20 at equal or reduced speed is constructed by utilizing the indispensable input shaft 19 and planting drive shaft 32. The main shaft 20 is extended at a side of the input shaft 19 in coaxial state and is provided with high and low main speed-change gears 34, 35 to perform main speed change. The speed reducer A and the main speed changing device are parallelly arranged in lateral direction. Since the speed reducer A and the main speed changing device are arranged parallelly in lateral direction in the transmission case 18, the speed-reduced transmission can be achieved at a low cost with a simple and light-weight structure.
