PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device for elevator failure position judgment capable of specifying a failure position. SOLUTION: This device comprises a control part 3a for recording the position of a car and the operating states of door related switches and shaft internal apparatuses in an emergency stop of the car; a landing position and apparatus position storage part 3b for storing the distance from the bottom floor to the car landing position in each floor and also storing the distance from the bottom floor to the operating position of each shaft internal apparatus; an arithmetic judgment part 3c for judging the failure position on the basis of the car position and the operating states of the door related switches and shaft internal apparatuses and recording it in a judgment result storage part 3d; and a failure restoration support terminal 4 and portable terminal 5 for displaying the failure position judgment result. A highly possible failure position is specified on the basis of the car position and the operating states of the door related switches and shaft internal apparatuses.
