PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical circuit module and its assembling method by which miniaturization is realized, cost and an insertion loss are reduced and fixing work by sticking or the like is easily performed. SOLUTION: The optical circuit module is provided with a capillary 24 holding optical fibers 22 and 23, an optical function element 25 and a collimator lens 26 which forms an optical signal from the optical fiber 22 into parallel light and makes it incident on the optical function element 25. The lens 26 is fixed to the inside of a sleeve 27 at a position where it is focused on the reflection surface 25a of the optical function element 25 which is abutted on one end surface 27a of the sleeve 27. Since all parts of the capillary 24, the collimator lens 26 and the optical function element 25 are fixed to one sleeve 27, the number of parts is reduced and the whole module is miniaturized.
