<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel type construction machine capable of controlling steering cylinders by introducing a simple constitution without a hydraulic pump and a rotary type selector valve which are dedicated to the steering cylinders. <P>SOLUTION: Main pump 29 is connected with the steering cylinders 8 and 9, and the flows of the pressure oil supplied to the steering cylinders 8 and 9 are controlled by a direction selector valve 44 for steering. The rotating direction and speed of a steering wheel 19 are sensed by a rotary encoder 75, and the direction selector valve 44 for steering is controlled by a controller 62 in accordance with the sensed rotating direction and the rotating speed, and thereby the steering angle corresponding to the rotating direction and speed of the steering wheel 19 can be determined without measuring the amount of the pressure oil supplied to the steering cylinders 8 and 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
