A tape feeder, a tape carrying unit, and a tape peeling unit are provided to reduce cost by carrying a carrier tape and peeling a cover tape through one driving system. A tape feeder(1) includes a carrying sprocket(4), a driving device(5), a driven sprocket(6), and a peeling roller(7). The carrying sprocket is rotated by being engaged with a sprocket hole formed on a carrier tape(3). The driving device rotates the carrying sprocket. The driven sprocket is rotated by being engaged with the sprocket hole of the carrier tape which is carried in one direction by rotation of the carrying sprocket. The peeling roller is rotated by being interlocked with the driven sprocket to peel a cover tape(12) attached to the carrier tape.
