<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the whole processing of page printer description language program. <P>SOLUTION: This page printer description program processing apparatus is provided with a printer driver 11 which describes as header information the content of processing which requires time most when the page printer description language program is interpreted to a header part of the page printer description language program, while outputting to a page printer printing data converting to page printer description language program; a header information analysis part 12 which is provided in the page printer, and analyzes header information in the page printer description language program received from the printer driver 11; and a CPU 65 which is provided in the page printer, and processes by a high speed RAM 66 the content of processing requiring time most from the header information analyzed by the header information analysis part 12, while interpreting the page printer description language program received from the printer driver 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
