Disclosed are a method and apparatus for processing a group session message, which belong to the technical field of terminals. The method comprises: determining that a specified user joins a group; if there are session messages in the group within a preset period of time before the current time, acquiring the session messages within the preset period of time; determining a specified session message from the session messages within the preset period of time; and sending a message identifier of the specified session message to a target server, so that the target server issues the specified session message in the group according to the message identifier of the specified session message. In the present invention, by means of a simple selection operation, a previous session message can be presented to a specified user who newly joined the group, thus greatly improving the processing efficiency. |
