PURPOSE:To obtain good laser irradiation part without any complicated laser beam mode adjusting by giving oscillation and rotation to a reflecting mirror for irradiating the laser beam on the base material. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror 3 is oscillated as sawtooth waveform, as centering axis 4 in the horizontal plane with the mirror 3 on passing the center part of mirror 3 by a galvanometer or a stepping motor 2. At the same time, the mirror 3 is rotated as centering vertical axis 5 to the mirror 3 on passing the center of mirror 3 by a rotating motor 1. The laser beam 8 is reflected by the mirror 3 through a condenser lens 7, to be irradiated on the base material 6 to be quenched or alloyed. In so doing, the laser beam 8 may be focused on the surface of the base material 6 or may be a little out of focus. Thus, the laser beam 8 irradiation part having good round shape is obtd. without effect of the good or bed mode of the laser beam 8. |
