PURPOSE:To improve workability, to reduce the loss of alternating current, and to improve Jc by including at least three kinds of elements selected among a predetermined group of elements for a copper alloy, by determining the amount of the elements in a manner that the resistivity calculated on a predetermined expression falls in a certain range, and by defining the interval of a superconducting filament larger than the certain value determined based on the resistivity. CONSTITUTION:For a copper alloy, at least three elements which belong to A group through J group are included, and the amount of them is so determined as to meet a condition where a resistivity Z at a room temperature calculated on an expression I is 2X10<-8>65X10<-8>OMEGAm or less, while an interval of a superconducting filament, as 0.0625X1/Z<1/2>nm or more.
