MANUFACTURE OF SILICONE RUBBER TUBE

PURPOSE:To form an identification mark on a silicone rubber tube simply and efficiently with an extrusion molding machine by reducing loss of material. CONSTITUTION:A transparent silicone rubber tube main body 10 having a hollow cylindrical cross section is extruded from a die 3 for molding. A silicone colorant 7 is supplied to the outer face of the silicone rubber tube main body from a mouthpiece 4 of the die 3 so as to form a line-like identification mark 11 in the axial direction of the silicone rubber tube main body 10. The tube main body can be formed out of an unvulcanized silicone rubber composition and the identification mark can be formed by a liquid or paste-like unvulcanized silicone colorant such as ink or coating which can be vulcanized.
