<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of part items, and reduce installing manhours by providing a male fixing tool having a joining member projecting in the handrail shaft direction from an end part of one handrail, a female fixing member and a screw member having a through hole and a screw hole to receive the joining member. CONSTITUTION:A male fixing tool 1 is applied to the tip of a handrail 100, and is fixed to the handrail 100 by a screw 2. Next, a flange 16 of a female fixing tool 11 is embedded in the tip of a handrail 200. The female fixing tool 11 is fixed to the handrail 200 by a screw 12. Afterwards, a joining member 5 of a male fixing tool 1 is inserted in a through hole 14. Then, a set screw is screwed in a hole 17. Then, the tip of the set screw comes into contact with an inclined face of a joining groove, and slides down. At this time, the joining member 5 is pulled in the handrail 200 direction by wedge action. Then, a fixing plate 3 of a male fixing tool 1 is fitted to a flange 15, and they are completely integrally joined together. Therefore, a handrail joint metal fitting is inexpensively provided, and can be extremely efficiently arranged.</p> |
