PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply light up an object image by lighting a display device independently of the posture of a camera main body in the case of photographing the object. SOLUTION: A lighting signal is given to a backlight drive section 17 to forcibly light a backlight 18 when an L axis rotary angle signal outputted from an L axis rotary sensor 19 and a B axis rotary angle signal outputted from a B axis rotary sensor 20 are received and a rotary angle around an L axis and/or a rotary angle around a B axis of a camera main body are tilted by 45 degrees or over.
