PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a teletext receiver to print out designated broadcast program data among teletext signals multiplexed on a vertical retrace interval of a television video signal. SOLUTION: An entry section 1 designates and enters a channel number and a program number. A retrieval section 7 searches whether or not the designated program data are in existence in a program data memory section 6 according to the designation. When the program data are in existence, the data are fed to a print means 8. When the designated program data are not in existence, a tuner section 4 selects a channel via a channel selection section 3, a program data extract section 5 extracts the designated program data and stores the data to the program data memory section 6. The program data read from the program data memory section 6 are once stored in a print data memory section 8a of the print means 8, then read again and a data conversion section 8b converts binary data into coded data. A print section 8c prints out the converted coded data.
