PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying-out device for automatic vending machine, in which the need to adjust the width of an article passage is eliminated even when different kinds of articles different in external diameter are vended. SOLUTION: A lock member 15 which is locked to the 2nd article from the bottom in the article passage 2 is extended into the article passage 2 by a quantity corresponding to the external diameter of a stored article A and even when an article to be vended is changed to an article having a different external diameter, the passage width need not be adjusted. In this case, an article on a carrying-out lever 14 is always pushed toward the other passage place 12, the article on the carrying-out lever 14 never shifts to the side of one passage plate 11 to securely prevent more than one article A from being carried out at a time.
