PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form processing device and an imaging system which show excellent operability during staple replacement and jamming. SOLUTION: The form processing device is equipped with a stapling tray F where the carried-in forms are aligned and temporarily stored and a saddle stitching stapler S2 for stitching a form bundle stored in the stapling tray F. In this device, the tray surface 66 of the stapling tray F is inclined so that the downstream side of the paper carrying-in direction is located above and the stitching staple driving side part of the saddle stitching stapler S2, i.e. a stitcher unit S21 is positioned above the tray surface 66 of the stapling tray F so as to enable the stitching staple to be driven from the upper side of the form bundle. Consequently, when the cover and the slip sheet are stitched, the slip sheet is supplied into a paper conveying path by reversing the slip sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
