Apparatuses and a method are provided for transmitting signals in a medical imaging system. The method includes transmitting signals wirelessly between at least one receive facility and a facility of the imaging system via a radio network.

transmitting a first signal between at least one receiver and an imaging system device, the first signal being a command signal; and transmitting a second signal between the at least one receiver and the imaging system device, wherein transmitting the command signal and the second signal takes place wirelessly via a radio network.
