<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat exchange efficiency by effectively using radiation heat of a catalyst body in a catalytic reaction type heating device. <P>SOLUTION: In this catalytic reaction type heating device, a heat exchange part 30 for performing heat exchange between high temperature gas and a heating medium is provided on the downstream side of the catalyst body 20 generating high temperature gas by catalytic reaction of mixed gas of fuel and air. A heat sink body 50 absorbing radiation heat from the catalyst body 20 is disposed on the upstream side from the catalyst body 20. The radiation heat radiated from the catalyst body 20 toward the upstream side is absorbed by the heat sink body 50, and radiated to the passing mixed gas by convection heat transfer to be used for heating the heat medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
