PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of a tensile force of a belt member.SOLUTION: A fixing unit comprises: a revolving body in which at least a peripheral surface makes a revolving movement; a belt member that is in contact with the peripheral surface of the revolving body to make a circulating movement with the revolving movement of the peripheral surface; a pressing member that presses the belt member on the peripheral surface of the revolving body from the inside of the belt member; a holding body that has a higher rigidity than that of the pressing member and holds the pressing member; and a metallic elastic member that is in contact with an inner surface of the belt member to be elastically deformed and stored inside the belt member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
