PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welded H-section steel having high corrosion resistance even at a contact part by a feeding element, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of an H-section steel formed by subjecting a web material and a flange material each comprising a zinc-based alloy plated steel strip to high-frequency welding, after the high-frequency welding, the periphery of a slide mark part formed by contact with a feeding element for heating a weld zone is rapidly cooled to miniaturize a solidification structure of a zinc-based alloy plated layer, to thereby obtain a welded H-section steel comprising the zinc-based alloy plated steel strip excellent in corrosion resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
