PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe LED lighting device.SOLUTION: An LED lighting device comprises an LED lighting device body attached to an attached member. The LED lighting device body comprises: LED elements as light sources; LED substrates 24 on which the LED elements are mounted; lighting circuit boards 23 powering the LED elements; a base member 21 whose face opposite to the attached member has the LED substrates 24 and the lighting circuit boards 23 mounted thereon; and a protective cover attached to the base member so as to cover the LED substrates 24 and the lighting circuit boards 23. The protective cover is formed by combining a plurality of protective cover pieces so as to have an overlap formed by placing edge parts of neighboring protective cover pieces on each other. The lighting circuit boards 23 are separate from the overlap when the LED lighting device body is viewed from the light emission direction of the LED elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
