The present invention relates to antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof which exhibit high affinity binding to the human IL-24 protein and also exhibit potent blocking of IL-24 signalling through the IL-22R1/IL-20R2 and/or the IL20R1/IL-20R2 receptor complex. Provided are methods of producing recombinant antibodies and antigen binding fragments, expression vectors, host cells and pharmatceutical compositions. Also provided are methods of treating or preventing dermatological and inflammatory conditions in a human patient, which comprises administering IL-24 antagonists.
