PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of the effect by data weighted averaging, due to different weight of the digital input signal.SOLUTION: For each digital input signal consisting of a thermometer code represented by L (L is an integer of 2 or more) bit strings, a digital output signal consisting of L bit strings, where the bit position of the digital input signal is staggered according to a pointer capable of taking L types of value, is generated. At this time, based on the magnitude of a data value represented by a thermometer code and the L, the pointer is updated for each digital input signal, and for each conversion cycle where a digital input signal group consisting of a predetermined number of digital input signals is inputted, any one of all candidates, i.e., the values that the pointer can take, is set as the initial value of pointer, for the digital input signal inputted at first of a conversion cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
