PURPOSE:To allow an observer to perceive pseudo stereoscopic perception by making the display surface have suitably a distortion in accordance with the display contents or the eye direction in pseudo depth information for satisfying the visual characteristic of a person. CONSTITUTION:An image is inputted from an image input part 11 and a motion area in its image is detected by a motion detecting part 12. A display correcting part 13 executes a local coordinate transformation to the vicinity of the motion area in a shown image in accordance with detected motion information and a display surface control part applies a physical distortion to the display surface by synchronizing with the area subjected to local coordinate transformation. A coordinate transforming part 15 executes locally a geometrical transformation in accordance with the motion area of the image, executes a distortion correction corresponding to the shape of the projection surface and displays the image on the display surface from a display part 16. |
