<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple applicator container which can be opened by a simple operation, can apply liquid in a line with a clear contour according to the purpose of the stored liquid and can be made at a low cost, essential requirement for the simple container. <P>SOLUTION: A rod plug 3 is suspended from the top end into the mouth part 6 of a cylindrical container body 2 with its upper and lower ends sealed. The plug member 4, which has a spout 12 sealed by fitting the lower end part of the rod plug 3 in the mouth part 6 and an applicator part 4 comprising many circumferential hair-like pieces 13a with each tip end extending around the rod plug 3 above the spout, is fitted and fixed in the mouth part 6.
