The device has a transport rotor with long spikes (5) positioned at the front which become gradually shorter spikes (5') towards the back and is driven by a conveyor worm (6). The conveyor worm has matching spirals, wide at the front and narrow at the back, and rotates parallel to the rotor. The inlet is shaped to match the rotation circle of the cutting blade and has an integrated combining element.
